David Fawcett is a social entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ experience developing charities and social enterprises that create lasting community impact. Before founding The Light Group and The Homeless Pastors, David led The Mill Group, a creative communications business, before establishing Happydays UK, where he developed projects including Happydays Building Company, Happydays Cycles and Happydays Café, creating employment, training and support opportunities for people facing disadvantage. His passion is building sustainable organisations that combine social enterprise with compassionate community action, creating opportunities for people to rebuild their lives while generating income to strengthen and expand charitable work.
TOM HARMER
DIRECTOR
Tom Harmer is an award-winning filmmaker and founder of Faith + Bones, a creative production company specialising in authentic storytelling. He has worked with charities, businesses and organisations across the UK and internationally, using film to inspire change and communicate purpose. Passionate about people and community, Tom brings extensive creative, strategic and communications expertise to The Homeless Pastors CIC, helping develop its vision, social enterprises and opportunities that transform lives for people experiencing homelessness and those living on the margins.
ELAINE SHARP
DIRECTOR
Elaine Sharp spent 36 years with Lloyds Banking Group, finishing her career as a Testing Team Manager before taking early retirement. She later supported the growth of Happydays UK, providing executive and administrative support during its early development. Elaine brings extensive experience in governance, administration and organisational development to The Homeless Pastors CIC. Her methodical approach, attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture make her a valued member of the board as the organisation grows and develops new opportunities.
MIKE GUSH
DIRECTOR
Mike Gush is a successful business owner with a background in joinery and now runs a Huddersfield-based textile company producing handcrafted woollen products on traditional looms. Passionate about supporting local manufacturing and quality craftsmanship, Mike brings practical business experience and entrepreneurial thinking to The Homeless Pastors CIC. A devoted family man with two daughters, he has a particular passion for supporting people in prison and those rebuilding their lives after release, helping create opportunities that restore hope, dignity and purpose.
